Bear Lake

Spud was "The Prez" for our Tri-Annual Foutz Family 2014 reunion this year.  He and Amanda planned it for Bear Lake.  The theme they chose was "Grow Strong".  It was a really fun time, and very well done.  Amanda had cousin camp each day which included an activity, opportunities to earn beads for their necklaces, and buttons to spend on items at the General Store. Every day we did a group activity as a whole, including hiking through a cave, playing at the beach, golf, boating, bounce house, biking, and lots of visit/relax/down time.  Each night two of us were in charge of dinner and a campfire activity.

The home.  Every couple had their own bed/bathroom, some of the kids shared a bedroom, and there were 2 loft areas for lots of open sleeping for the kids.

There were so many more moments not captured by photo, but it was a great time! Even though it is quite the orchestration to get us all together, amongst all the chaos, I am grateful for my family.  I realize that many cannot do what we do together without drama, hurt feelings, and horrible fighting.  The fact that we CAN, and that we DO make this happen means a lot.  I thank my dad for providing the means and the will to make it all possible.  We all complain on some level.
But, at the end of the day, I see it as a blessing that we all love each other, and that we all feel connected in some way to one another.  Cheers to another great Prez!  And, now the torch is passed onto Raenie!!

Hannie, this looks like way too much fun! Did you rent that big old yellow thing on the lake? Is like a trampoline and slide? We'll have to talk.
