random

Ryan and I were able to go see cute little Nat (a friend and client of mine for years) preform for her last time with her cheer team: TNT Ignite.  They were so good.  We were impressed.
She is on the far left in the front.

And, here she is on top.

Later that same day, we met up with Sonia (another great friend and client of mine) for a little birthday celebration dinner for her.   We are so fortunate to have so many great friends.  It's what makes life so full.

defeat

Unfortunately for Ryan, (and for me too...) he had to pass on his lucky belt to Brock.  It was a sad moment in time for Mr. RHB.  I am pretty sure I still hear him crying himself to sleep, and this happened last Thursday night.  So, as a huge favor to me, if you are in the poker group and are reading this, please consider a re-match in the very near future.  I don't think I can handle watching my husband crumble to pieces in this emotional crisis for much longer.

'Little Brocky' rubbing it in!
Good stuff!

...see what I mean?  Look at Ryan rubbing his head in the background... He can't handle the stress!

Show 'n' Tell

Here's a snapshot of our little buddy.  Whowouldathunk we both could love this creature as much as we do?  He's just the most loving snuggle-bug ever.

tennis + nadal + other cute boys = yum

Rafael Nadal.  So cute.  So talented.  So nice to watch.
But... so young.
it's still nice to watch him move.... ;)
Gotta love that tennis in the warm sunshine!

what i love

We just returned from our annual trip to Palm Desert.  These are some of the reasons why I love this trip:
seeing the windmills as we pull into the valley on I-10
the beautiful setting of the condo where we stay
the amazing fragrances EVERYWHERE that fill the air from the beautiful spring flowers in bloom
this is why it is hard for us to come back to our air polluted valley.

nyc pizza

Ryan has this huge thing about true, blue, pure in form, taste, texture, smell, and crunch for NYC style pizza.  Problem: he can't find it anywhere.  So, out of all places: a strip mall outside of Vegas.  We were there visiting a couple weekends ago, and happened upon this little Bistro.  It was just what he has been craving for years.  I had to take a photo.
