Our NYE tradition of blowing things up and fireworks has still held strong.  I don't think it'll ever change!  These boys have so much fun with fire!

Later in the day we went to CC's to see Spuds family and let Dare have some more time with his cousins.

 We planned for a day on the slopes at the Basin, and then dinner and fireworks for the evening.  It was a special night with the Wildes, albeit emotional and a bit vacant without Bennie.  I'm proud of them all though...taking each of these experiences in stride, and getting through.  

Dare was EXHAUSTED after a full day of skiing, and all the activities after.  It was a good thing that the cookies were all ready to go!

It's hard to believe that Bogey will be 14 on the 29th!  What an old man, but he's still our puppy.  He is impatient in his old age, and has developed some funny quirky habits, almost like he has some sort of dementia.  We love him so much though, and he seems happy and content, even amongst his achey back and paws.  He's pretty full of arthritis, he's loosing his teeth, his breath is atrocious, and his eyes are so clouded with cataracts.  Poor lil man.  I wish we could freeze time for him, and make him our immortal pup.  He's so good.
