Brenda and Giovanni had us over for a fabulous dinner out on their patio last night.  It was a perfect night, and the food was great!  G smoked the meat all day, and it was ready for us by dinner.  Here is his spread.  Ry and I were pretty impressed.

first night in crib

I told myself from the beginning that Dare would sleep in his cradle next to my side of the bed until he was a month old.  And that is what he did!  Yesterday he turned a month old, and last night was his first night in his big boy crib, in his own room!  And he did so well!  I am thinking I should have done this sooner!  He slept 4.5 hours between feedings, totally eliminating one of his feedings!  I am so proud!  And, thanks to our video moniter (thanks Paula and Jen!), if I was worried about him, I just peeked in on him on the screen, and I didn't have to get up!

Just a few:

Dare was sucking on his thumb with such gusto.  It was pretty funny.

Our baby boy is getting some chubs!

Our neighbor Jennifer threw me a book shower last night.  It was such a cool idea, and Dare got a lot of great books!  I think every FTM should have one thrown for her!

The kids came to visit last week, and we took them to see the Mummy Exhibit downtown.  After we went through that, we went up to the 2nd floor where they have other presentations.  Here is Taylor acting as a weather woman.  Ryan insisted she pose, as he has always wished that he chose this as his career.  Come to think of it, I should have had HIM pose.  Anyway, here is 7 mo. preggy Tay:
