treehouse

In mid March Ryan started his treehouse project for Dare. It was not meant to drag out over several months,  but mother nature has been a beast this year...providing the longest, coldest, wettest, most depressing, and anxiety driven (because we are desperately wanting/deserving warm and sun) "spring" that we've ever experienced! Many have changed their reference to this fiasco and have been calling it "swinter".

Anyway,  our fingers are crossed that the few days lately that we've experienced pretty close to decent sun/warmth  will prolong and stay!!

So, here's the reveal of his masterpiece treehouse/playhouse/hideout/fort he built for Dare and his friends!

...hopes are he will enjoy it for many years! He's already had several sleep outs in it!

The things he's still working on are: more permanent outside entry steps/base concrete pad, fold out (or down) table bed, and papa Foutz is going to build a low table top to go around the base of the tree inside.

I'm pretty proud of carpenter bailey.  ❤
