We are so glad that Aislyn has a season pass to Lagoon as well! It makes it nice that we can take her and she gets to ride with Dare while we watch!

new park

There's a new park in Bountiful and it's very nice.  Dare has had many trips, and mostly loves it with sis as his playmate!

This is why you don't let your boys get dressed by themselves! Because once they do, they are so proud!! And there's no way you can undo it, because it would burst their bubble!

summer camp

Dare is enrolled in summer camp at St Olaf. They do field trips each day, as well as fun activities, recess, and play. He's been loving it so far, and has so many cool experiences with the different outings. The teachers are so nice, and so are the friends! The pool days have not been his most favorite, but we're working on that!

Ryan loves making fun of the Jacksons when they get out the tandem bike! This time he thought it would be fun for them to make fun of us, especially since he insisted that I drive and do all the work.  Oh my...

We realized last minute we could sneak away for a day on the lake without the kids! Stefan was great to get his parents boat and host the event! Much needed girltime and adult only therapy!! Thx to aunt Miggie who came over and hung out at the baileyhood and held down the fort while we played! She's such a good sis and auntie!!

gut laugh

We were sitting around our fire table with the Jacksons on evening, making s'mores, and visiting. At one point, Dare needed to go potty, but he couldn't get his zipper down. It was completely stuck. I couldn't even get it unstuck. I had him in all sorts of positions, and at one point while he was laying on my lap, I was laughing so hard at this silly predicament. Doug snapped a pic. Good stuff!

I thought I would dread having to go sit on the sidelines for each baseball game. I thought it would be annoying to have this twice-weekly interruption in our evenings. I was so wrong!!  I have been completely thrilled to be a part of the proud parent cheering section in the lawn seating!  What "they" say all the time about it being different once it's your own child, has proven to be true time and time again throughout the different phases of Dare and his development! Cheers to many years of this! Gooo Crawdads!!!

Janet came into town for a quick turn around so that she could be a part of her nephew's wedding. She planned ahead and made arrangements so we could meet her one of the evenings she was here. We ended up at the OG and Fashion Place and had a great visit!!

favorite people

I can't describe how much I love these 2 people!  I feel so fortunate to be in the position I am, to daily connect with my clients...my friends. The Lundbergs are my absolute favorite and cutest couple! Every time Elden brings LaWona in, he leaves at first, but always returns before we're done and he sits inmy pedicure chair and visits.  I learn so much from LaWona during our alone time, then Elden comes and tells me jokes (usually the same ones as the visit before...shhh!! they are always funny, even on repeat), gives me life advice...on relationships, differences between man/woman, etiquette, and reminds me always to be sweet and loving.  LaWona reminds me to not be "cross" about men and their many annoying and predictable behaviors. She told me one day that they've been happily married for 65 years. Elden corrected her and said "no we've been married for 68 years!" She said  "I know dear, I said happily married!"  We all laughed and laughed. They are the best! I'm a lucky girl to call these 2 my friends. I look forward every time to our monthly connections!
