I have been so excited about a really simple thing... Basil.
I planted some in one of my pots on the front porch, and I love checking on it and watching it grow.
My favorite, is rubbing the leaves in my fingers, and then smelling that yummy smell that lingers on my skin.
It's such a fresh smell. I love to eat it too, especially on sandwiches.
If you don't have any planted, go plant some!

I love my potted basil too! I love to eat it with mozzarella and balsmic, it's my favorite herb!
Look at you little miss green thumb! Mmm...I'm loving basil too. Try out my bruschetta recipe, yumm-o! Perhaps I'll try growing some next season.
