Over the weekend Chal, me, Tootie, Nic, and Nat all had a yard sale on Tootie's front and side lawn.  We had SOOO much to sell, and surprisingly a lot did go.  For the most part it was successful, although I think it will be at least a decade before you could convince any of us to do it again!  It was A LOT of work, and it was sweaty and hot.  I think my favorite part of it all, besides making some extra cash, was the amazing people watching and observing that the sale provided for us all. Now I have a greater appreciation for the saying that my friend Brittanie always uses: "she is such a yard sale!"

My little niece Kenzie and nephew Dallin slept over on Saturday night.  It was so fun to have them and enjoy the innocent interactions that come from sweet little people. Kenz LOVES Bogey, and could not get enough of him.  She let me do her hair and round brush it out.  It was so fun. 

4th

We spent the evening of the 4th up at Deer Valley at an outdoor concert: One Republic

It was a great evening, although a little on the cold side for the 4th of July.  We were glad we had warmer clothes packed, and lots of blankets!

j.p. family visit

My brother Jake and his wife Susan were in town a couple weeks ago.  They decided to bless their baby on one of the nights they were here at my parents home.  Here they are with their newest addition: Gideon.

Here's Jake with his cute little bug.  He is a pretty good baby, so mellow and quiet compared to the rest of the kids!

I am trying to get little Stan to look at the camera, but he is like his sister Ruby... stubborn... and he just wouldn't. 

And, I couldn't resist posting this photo of blue eyes Will, my brother Spud's little guy.  He is soooo darling.

So, it was good to see my bro and his kids, and have a short little visit with them.  Other than the fact that my ex husband showed up to this FAMILY gathering to stand in the blessing circle while my husband and I observed.... it was FAB!!

Cheers to that family dynamic! Next time we should invite not only my ex, but Kelly's ex, and Mijken's ex!  It will be a party!
