Dare has had a stretch of "the not so feel goods". He has come down with strep two times. We're hoping for better days soon. Our poor baby boy...❤

The Wildes joined us this year in our annual tradition of attending the monster trucks, all thanks to Brett and his sweet ticket hookup!!

january heaven

Once again we found ourselves in absolute enjoyment of our slice of heaven for those few days in January. We so look forward to getting out of the cabin fever and putting aside our winter blues...just for a time. Sun is therapy. And so are the crashing ocean waves. ❤

And here (bucket in the middle) is the stash of shells brought home to add to our already substantial collection! Dare is super proud of each and every one...(and has no clue how many of them mama already tossed! 😉)

jazz game

Beth and Tim Furner have lower bowl season tickets (Highland Group) to the Jazz games, and Beth asked me the other day if we'd like to have them for the game last night. I of course said "Yes!!", as Ryan and I love going to a couple games a season if the opportunity presents, but we are definitely lower bowl (or suite) snobs... because otherwise, for us it's more enjoyable to watch on on big TV at home... 

We decided to take Dare, buy him a cheap tix on the street, and then see if we could make it work to have him take turns on our laps. As it played out, the 4 people next to our seats never showed, so we ended up having plenty of space, and it was a super fun night! Dare was pretty happy to attend his first live jazz game!!
