Dare and I built a fort, with a queen mattress inside, and the tv mounted on the wall as part of it. So, we've been camping out a lot lately.  Going on 3 weeks.  I think it may be time to disassemble, so this mama can get back to sleeping in her own bed!  I had no idea this was going to be such an ongoing "hit"!!  But, Dare is quite the fan!

Auntie Rain gave Dare a family pass to Discovery Gateway for Christmas.  So, we decided to take him.  He had a fun time, and for the most part, we thought it was pretty decent!

I don't think we will ever be able to go solo to San Diego on our annual anniversary trip in Jan ever again!  Dare has deemed it "my san diego"  and makes mention of "our next time we go there" quite often. So, although the dynamics of our time away do change quite a bit, it is so fun seeing him enjoy the very things that make Ryan and I the most happy:  the ocean and the sunshine.  

So, if it's a party of three from here on, til forever... that's ok with me!

Jennifer asked to take Dare to church today.  She is the Primary Pres, and they were talking about Noah and his fancy Arc.
