Julie did her magic again for us this year. It is probably one of the most painful and unpleasant experiences... that of enduring Ryan's incessant complaining, and dirty talk associated with his complete disgust for family picture day. I'm not sure how many more years I can do this, before the old man wears me down! It's so important to me though! Dare changes so much year to year, and the small "sacrifice" of posing for 30 minutes seems almost NOT noteworthy enough to mention, in comparison to the beautiful moment in time that is annually captured.

gordy
Each fall, in prep for the cold winter, Ryan fishes Gordy out of the pond, gives him a "bath", which is more of a scrubbing, and then transitions him into his new winter home in the bin in the garage. Dare was excited to help this year!

Love this girl, her tender heart, her worried soul, and her beginnings of a post preggy hormone [sure to be memorable] ride of her life!

rip suz
We all tried to make the best out of a very hard scenario for Jake and his kids. Susan died on the 2nd, and from there, things started moving fast for Jake and Co. Mom and Dad immediately caught a flight Baltimore, and were there to support, and also be present for the small service held for her there. They then assisted in travel, flying with him and the kids to Denver. It was there that the main funeral was held, and she was laid to rest in the military cemetery. It was, in some ways a heavy weekend, but in most, it felt for me like renewal and "FINALLY". Now Jake and the kids can get on with their lives, and thrive in a very different, and hopefully healthy way

welcome twins
The twins arrived in perfect time, right before we had to head to Denver for the funeral!
Jett and Cruz Pollock!
Born November 9,2018
They are the sweetest, most fresh, little loves straight from heaven to us. I wished for more snuggle time with them, but there was a lot going on with them, and Tay needing to care for them. As well as our travel schedule that was time sensitive. But, all in all, it was nothing but happy moments for us, as we got to enjoy them, love on them, and welcome them into our family! We are so proud of Tay, and her bravery as she endured 3 LONG months of bedrest and unrest. She is a champ, and we love her so much!
