I can't get this to download right. But, anyway, here is baby b at almost 6 months. He's all squashed up, and in every shot that Yama (my dr) took, he was in this position, with his feet up above his head. I wish I were that flexible in my yoga class!

Christmas weekend. Ryan went up to his parents and did this twice. We got a lot of snow.
It was nice to have a white Christmas.

jamesy
It was so good to see Ms Jamey. She came into town for a visit and we were able to do lunch. She had to bring a little bit of sunny Florida with her here to Utah. She is so funny.
She insisted I try them out. So attractive, eh? ;)

Santa came to Stacy's party last night, so I thought I would get a photo of Baby B on Santa's lap. He will sure look a lot different a year from now ;)

sick bogey
Bogey has been sick for 3 days. He's so lathargic and just lays there and looks at us with his sad little eyes. I feel so bad for him. Atleast he's snuggling with one of his favorite blankies on "his spot" (which is actually mine) on the couch.
I hope he feels better soon.
fish at forty
Takashi is one of our longtime favorite sushi restaurants in the SLC. Takashi is the name of the owner and head sushi chef. If you have never been, go check it out on Market Street. You won't be disappointed. Anyway, you can imagine our excitement when Brenda told us that she had hired Takashi himself to come to their home and cater Giovanni's 40th birthday party! We were so thrilled!
He had quite the professional set-up, and made any sashimi and roll to order, along with an amazing papaya salad, pot stickers, and TO DIE FOR ribs.

cake from Dicks. THE BEST!
Giovanni's HOT and SPICY plate.
We gave him birthday juices. High West to help him sleep, and Joint Juice...well you know, he'll need that too, now that he is sooo OLD!
The whole group. Takashi is drinking his hot sauce.
He made me his signature "pregnant mamma" roll. No raw fish for me right now. BOO!
It was still good. I told him we were having him come cater for us after baby b is born so that I can really indulge in the good stuff!
It was a fabulous night.

half way mark
20 weeks!
I just want to say that I am 5 months, but according to Mr. Bailey, he says that 20 weeks doesn't mean 5 months cuz some months have more than 4 weeks. Bummer. Regardless... I AM HALF WAY there!!

pic 5
Baby pic #5.
Here is baby b at almost 5 months development.
One hand is covering his ear, the other one is up in a fist, and you can see his heart right below my camera flash mark under his chin. It was pretty cool today. The ultrasound was like 45 min. They checked for:
short forearms = negative
cleft palete and lip = negative
healthy 4 chambers of heart = affirmative
normal all over bone development = affirmative
normal lip and nose development = affirmative
normal blood vessel development = affirmative
normal brain and skull development = affirmative
cute little feet and hands = affirmative
normal stomach, kidneys, liver = affirmative
So: baby b is just fine!
Relief!
