birthday bugs

My bff threw the 2 cute little bugs a birthday bash.  They have birthdays 2 weeks apart.  I informed her that the only reason I approved of her not doing them separately was soley for Jack's young age.  Everyone needs their own special day, don't ya think?  I've got your backs for next year boys!  Don't you worry.  Auntie Hannie will make sure your mamma complies!
Remington, AKA: Jack. (I don't think he knows his own real name yet during his short 12 month existence)
Walker... AKA: Tex, tearing apart the paper to get to the goods.
 baby Jack's cakes
and... it's gone!  Time for presents!
Texie and his weird cake.  I have not a clue as to what that thing is.  But, the Parsons cake underneath the goo on top sure was delish!
Happy birthday to my boys.  I sure love you guys.

gq pup

There's a little shop on Etsy called Silly Buddy.  She hand makes these collars that have snap on bow ties.
He's our little GQ man.

tennis gardens

So delicious:
 Nadal
another cute Spaniard
 and my little Argentinian
and not really 'delicious', but fun to watch... women's doubles.

Other deliciousness:  the sun, the blooming flowers, the palm trees, the slight warm breezes, the sun, the good shopping bargains, quality time with family, the sun, the pool time, the safe drive both ways, oh... and the sun.  We were sad to leave... until next March.  Adios Palm Desert.

talent

I our book, the more random the live band... the better.
This past weekend we listened to 3 different bands at 2 different venues.
I am in awe at the talent people possess.  Our favorite by far was a band called the Huckleberries.  They sang us the blues.  And did they ever sing those blues.  I wish I would have taken a photo. It was amazing.
The Harrison Band (i think..)
The Fierce Bad Rabbit.
What a name ;)

b ball

Bountiful made it to the state playoffs this weekend.   Ryan and I went with his dad and hung out at Weber State for 2 afternoons watching the games.  They beat WX, and then lost the championship to Highland.  I was pretty impressed with their team though.

Being there reminded me how long I have been out of HS.
I am OLD!
