a fun day

We were able to secure a free ticket for Lagoon from Gary so that Dare could take James with us. It was so nice for him to have a buddy to play with, go on the rides with, and it made it easier on his ma and pa too!!
It was a good day.

pinocchio

Gayle bought us tix. It was so cute. Dare almost tapped out, but with the bribe of some new tracks for hot wheel collection , he went back in after intermission and finished strong!

cram

I had no plans to take the little man to Lagoon on Sat, but he begged, and I decided "why not?!?"  So, we crammed in 2 hours of mommy/dare time and hurried over. We had tickets to Pinocchio at 4, so we had to hurry! We did Lagoona Beach first, and then hit a few rides. It was just enough time to completely exhaust him! Ryan and I have high fived eachother so many times this summer for the season pass purchases! It's THE ONLY way to do Lagoon with a kid!!

fff

Forced Family Fun. It happened to fall on Darrell's birthday this year. 81 years and still kicking! It was the Hayward family reunion at No. Canyon Park, and there was no way to exempt out. It helped that we could spend some time with Darrell and celebrate his b-day. Dare and I went to Crumbl and got him a box of 4. It's not easy knowing what to get him at this stage in life! But, a few ccc's are always a nice treat!

so many tomatoes

Farmer Ryan is harvesting the abundance again, so I'm in full throttle mode for sun dried tomatoes...all in an effort to enjoy them all year long!

weekend with wildes

We stayed at my clients cabin (Lisa Stevens) over the werkend. We did Echo lake on Saturday and the demolition derby that night. All the rest of the time, both Friday and Sunday was spent enjoying the beauty of the cabin setting (Tollgate Canyon area), including discovering porcupine quills and poop on the back patio, shooting cans with slingshots, finding snakes and watching Ryan actually hold one, and running around like banshees looking for other interesting things to explore in the great outdoors!
