check two off

The two projects I was FINALLY able to tackle this past weekend!
Dare's ironing and painting a wall in Dare's playroom to create a chalk wall.
I am so happy to check those two items off my list, as they have been barking up my tree for over a month now!
He loves it.
Makes it even better!

wreck

I wrecked the truck.
It got fixed.
No one was hurt.
I hit a barricade.
Just thought I'd document.
It kinda sucked, like all wrecks do, for the sheer inconvenience of it all.
But, the silver lining was, we had a rental car to drive down and back to the desert, eliminating the wear and tear and miles on our own vehicle!
But, Ryan got a speeding ticket on the way home.
Blamed it on the rental car.
The End.

spring fling

It was once again time for our annual get-away to Palm Desert for the BNP Paribas International Tennis Tournament in Indain Wells.  We have loved this tradition so much, I don't think we will ever let it go.  The only alteration from here on out is that Dare goes.  He will be old enough by next year.

The property we stay at inside of PGA West in La Quinta.
Enjoying the ambiance of the tennis gardens.

It has been a lot of fun to have Carmie and Kelly come with us these past 4 years!
a silly sissie moment at one of our favorite dining spots: the jackalope
We were able to watch some incredible tennis
And, if noted... My Boyfriend Rafa is front and center!
We sat right next to Chrissy Everett and Carmie was able to get her autograph
And, much to Ryan's dismay if you ask him, I "forced" him to get his photo taken with John McEnroe and shake his hand.  But, I am not sad about this.  It will go down in history as one of my greats.

The Bailey Clan
We were able to see Tay and Titan on the way down and back.
And, while we were away, Mister Dare had great fun with Granny and Papa.  He ate his meals standing on a stool at the kitchen island...because that is what he wanted.
He played "baskit" with his cousins
He ate ice cream with his Papa
And, had a haircut at Papa's Barbershop, as well as wearing his PJ's all day because that is what he wanted!
