game

Tyler gave us his Jazz tickets last night so we took the kids. It was a fab time. With a close score the whole game, and then OT at the end, we did our fair share of screaming and heckling. We're glad they won. It was a close one. Go Jazz... hopefully the season will get better...

accomplished

Whew! Another event accomplished! Last night was so much fun! We had a full house (sold out theater) for our New Moon pre-screening at Jordan Commons.
A huge thank you to my wonderful comrades Chal and Liv. We make a great team and nothing this huge could have ever been pulled off with out each of our special touches. Go Private Design!
Also, thank you so so much to all of our clients who came and supported us and who have been so loyal throughout the years.
Lastly, a HUGE thank you to our amazing helpers: Carmen Crane, Mijken Ashton, my mommy Linda, Lauren Ricci, Harmony Jenkins, Sheryl Sweeten, Linda and Courtney Cook, Greg Carlile, Ryan Hadlock, Ryan Bailey (my main man), Lana and Uncle Johnny Poll, Brooklyn (Lucy) Rollins, Sanette Brady and her whole gang, and Laurie Hewitt.
We had a TON of giveaways, mostly salon services that were donated by the girls we work with, plus each person received a $25 gift card for waxing services with one of us 3 at PD, and everyone got treats and a bundt cake from 'Nothing Bundt Cakes'..... huge hit.... thanks April!
So, if you missed out, you should consider not missing Eclipse on 30 June next year!
Maybe by then I will have read at least the first book!

it struck me in the grocery store

Yesterday while I was grocery shopping, I paused and took note of how I felt. I felt happy, I felt free, I felt accepted, I felt loved, I felt complete. Out of all places and times, I am not sure why then or there, but it didn't matter.
It was a good reminder to me that I am happy. That I am grateful. That I am in a good place... with a really great man.
I told him when I got in the car. He asked me if I was sure.
I am positive.
Life is good, because it is.
